•  Earlier served as Lecturer in various Institutions.

•  Post Graduate in Applied History.

•  Obtained Ph.D. in the  area of " Social Welfare" from  University of Madras.

•  Areas of interest: History, Tourism, Archaeology, Women Studies, and Social Welfare.

•  Published articles in the areas of History, Women Studies and Social Welfare.

•  Members in several Professional Organisations 

•  Recognised M.Phil Guide for Vinayaga Mission, Annamalai, Alagappa,Periyar and Mother Teresa Universities

•  Presented and Published a Paper in the International Conference in Malaysia

•  Recognised Ph.D Guide for Mother Teresa University

•  Guided 22 M.Phil candidates. Currently guiding 11 candidates
